When I was 5 I had my first cat named Kissey Fur. Had her since she was born, until I was 12. I moved 4 different times with her, always protected her, loved her, my favorite cat. My step-father (whom was one of the most evil men I’ve ever known) got mad and gave her away one day, along with my moms cat fantasia. They were both full breed persian cats. At the time we live in the mojave desert. Two days after they were gone, my mother and I went to go and reclaim our cats from the person he gave them too. But it was too late. Aten by cototes. They were everywhere, use to come down and eat the chickens at night! Thats also why mountain lions don’t scare me much, cause I was use to seeing them, usually in the morning, when my little brother and I walked almost a mile each day to the bus stop for school. I’ll never forgive him for that.

Poor Catsby. This last Sunday Alex and I woke up and she was magically on the floor. I say magically because, she had gotten out Saturday night, and we tried to look for her, but she was out on an adventure. Being the acrobatic cat that she is, she has figured out a way to let herself in and out of the house. So when I couldn’t find her, I wasn’t worried cause I knew she would be there the next day. My bedroom door was closed all night, and when I woke up. There was no way she could have opened or closed it herself.
Back to sunday morning, we wake up and there she is, laying in the middle of the floor. We were both like, WTF? So I called out to her, for her to come say good morning. But she didn’t move. So I got up to pet her, and she just looks out of it, and is really cold. I tried to pick her up, and she screams. I notice ther is something up with her leg. He leg is all messy, and her fur is stiff like there was dried blood. After much discussion, we are pretty sure she got hit by a car in my parking lot. She is black and likes to sleep under cars, so it makes sense.
She is such a rambunctious and energetic cat, yet at the moment can’t move.It makes her very mad I can tell, I try to help her up sometimes, but she hisses. She tries to walk, but just ends up falling back down. I’m not sure if she completely broke it, or just injured it. But I have been helping her, bringing her food and water, putting her in the litter box (lol, she just looks at me, hella pissed off) and gently moving her, so she can be in the company of everyone. It is just weird to almost have to walk on eggshells, around a cat, because she is so proud, she doesn’t want help. I guess thats nature.
